Dr Nataša Tomić

Dr. Nataša Tomic-Petrović was born in Kranj. She finished primary and secondary school in Belgrade with distinction. Dr. Tomic-Petrović graduated at the Faculty of Law, University in Belgrade (average grade A) in 1996.  She defended cum laude her master thesis (2002) and her doctoral dissertation (2008) at the Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade. From 2003 she is Assistant and from 2008 Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering at the University of Belgrade. Dr. Tomic-Petrović is teaching the group of subjects in the scope of the scientific field "Law in traffic, transportation and communications”. In 2004 she obtained diploma of the European Public Law Center. She is the coauthor of the Мanual for Traffic Law used as the accessory textbook by students of the Faculty of transport and traffic engineering in Belgrade. On the open competition of “Andrejevic Foundation” her master thesis and her doctoral thesis were selected for publication as the best in their scientific discipline.
Besides her excellent English, Dr. Tomic-Petrović speaks French language and she is also improving Italian and modern Greek language.
In the last years she performed specializations at the Charles University in Prague (1996 and 1998), on the Аеgean Institute of Мaritime Law at the Island of Rhodos (1997), at the College of Public Administration in Budapest (1997), at the Faculty of Law in Athens (2000), in the Byalystok School of Public Administration in Poland (2001), in the European Public Law Center in Greece (2003 i 2004) and at the College of Europe in Bruge (2010).
