Dr. Jelica Petrović Vujačić

Dr Jelica Petrovic Vujacic, full professor, was born in Dubrovnik. She studied at the Faculty of Economics in Beograd where she graduated in1978, received her M.A in 1984 and her doctorate in 1992. She has been employed at the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering since 1979. She was promoted to full professor in 2010.

At the undergraduate level she teaches courses in Principles of Economics, Engineering Economics, Business Economics with Basic Principles of Financial Management and Basic Telecommunications Economics.  At the graduate level she teaches Engineering Economics in Transport and Communications, Transport Economics and Policy, Financial Management in Transport and Communications and The Economics of Telecommunications.

During 1986 and 1987 she did research at the London School of Economics and Political Science and the Institute of Development Studies, Brighton. From October 2002 till April 2009 she was on a leave of absence due to the fact that her husband was appointed Ambassador to the United States of America.

She is an author of two books and the coauthor of three. She has published over 80 papers in international and national journals and proceedings from scientific conferences. She is currently the editor in chief of the scientific journal Economic Horizons. She is a member of the Scientific Association of Economists and serves on the Presidency of the Beograd Economic Association.
