2009-2010

Professor Vojin Tosic was a member of Program Committee for the 4th International Conference on Research in Air Transportation - ICRAT 2010, jointly organized by the EUROCONTROL Organization and Budapest University of Technology & Economics, which was held in Budapest, Hungary on June 01-04, 2010. Also, Professor Tosic was a Chairman of Session "Airport Design and Operations" .

Bojana Mirkovic and Fedja Netjasov participated in the EUROCONTROL CRDS programme GENSPACE held in Budapest (Hungary), February 22-23, 2010. The objective of the programme was ATC Familiarization for non-ATC personnel.


2008-2009

In period between 23. March and 4. April, 2009, DAAD organized and sponsored study visit to Germany for 14 senior year students and 2 of the teaching staff from Department of air Transport, Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering, University of Belgrade. During study visit they visited Munich airport, DLR's Flight Guidance Institute in Brunswick, Berlin airports (Tegel and Schoenefeld), Technical University in Berlin, Berlin School of Economics and Law and Technical University Dresden. On 13 March, 2009 a members of Division of Airports and Air Traffic Safety and Division of Aircraft Operations and Air Transport Planning and Management have visited the Department of Air Transport, of University of Zilina (Slovakia), hosted by Prof. dr Antonin Kazda. The visit is organized as part of academic cooperation between the two Faculties. During the visit a following lectures are offered to students and professors of University of Zilina:

  • Prof. Obrad Babic: "Instrument Arrival and Approach Procedures, Case Study: Airport Nis";
  • Prof. Vojin Tosic: "Airport Passenger Handling: One Model";
  • Prof. Milica Kalic: "Airline Scheduling: From Planning to Operations";
  • Fedja Netjasov: "Traffic Alert and Collision Avoidance System (TCAS)";
  • Slavica Dozic: "Irregular Airline Operations: Decision Support System";
  • Radosav Jovanovic: "Air Navigation Services Charges in Europe".
  • 2007-2008

    Fedja Netjasov was attending the five day course "SAM-SAF3-SSA: System Safety Assessment for ATM System Implementation and Monitoring", at Malta Air Traffic Services in organization of EUROCONTROL Institute of Air Navigation Services - IANS, Luqa, Malta, June 30 - July 4, 2008.

    Bojana Mirkovic was attending the five day course "Airport Resource Management", at EUROCONTROL Institute of Air Navigation Services - IANS, Luxembourg, May 26-30, 2008.

    On May 26 to 27, 2008 Prof. dr Antonin Kazda, dr Anna Tomova, dr Andrej Novak, dr Sandra Krollova and dr Benedikt Badanik from the University of Zilina (Slovakia), Department of Air Transport, visited the Department and gave following lectures:

  • Dr Antonin Kazda, professor: "Airport planning and national differences";
  • Dr Anna Tomova, assistant professor: "Value of statistical life and air transport safety";
  • Dr Andrej Novak, associate professor: "Communication and navigation systems";
  • Dr Sandra Krollova, lecturer: "Meteorological aspects of flying in mountain conditions";
  • Dr Benedikt Badanik, lecturer: "Untapped potential of on-board advertising".

    Fedja Netjasov was attending the five day course "SAM-SAF2-PSSA: Preliminary System Safety Assessment for ATM system designers", at EUROCONTROL Institute of Air Navigation Services, Luxembourg, Luxembourg, May 19-23, 2008.

    Professional excursion for students of senior year of Department was organised between April 16 and 22, 2008. This excursion comprised visits to Budapest Airport, Vienna Airport, Munich Airport and EUROCONTROL Centre for Research, Development and Simulation (CRDS) in Budapest. Prof. Milica Kalic lead the excursion, and Slavica Dozic, assistant at the Division and Andrija Vidosavljevic, PhD student at the Faculty and Research Assistant (consulting) at the Division of Airports and Air Traffic Safety, had also participated.

    Bojana Mirkovic had Graduate student internship at Zurich Airport, Zurich, Switzerland. She spent three months (January - April 2008) at Unique Airport, Operations Planning Department. During that time she was working on gate process analysis, parking stand assignment at future state (Schengen/Non Schengen) and parking stand availability analysis. She's internship resulted with the reports "Gate process - Measurements and data analysis", "Simple process flowchart" (preparation for simulation) as well as Model (spreadsheet) for gate availability analysis.

    On February 21, 2008 professors from the University of Zilina, Department of Air Transport, dr Antonin Kazda, dr Benedikt Badanik and dr Andrej Novak visited the Department and considered cooperation of the two Faculties.

    Fedja Netjasov was attending the five day course "SAM-SAF1-FSH: Introduction to EATMP System Safety Assessment Methodology and Functional Hazard Assessment", at EUROCONTROL Institute of Air Navigation Services, Luxembourg, Luxembourg, December 3-7, 2007.

    Radosav Jovanovic attended the INFRATRAIN Autumn School on "Infrastructure Regulation, Modelling and Policy", Specialisation in "Efficiency and Productivity Analysis", Berlin University of Technology, October 2007.


    2006-2007

    During 2007 summer vacation a senior year student Andrija Vidosavljevic had professional summer training organized trough IAESTE (International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience). Hi spent two months at AENA (Aeropuertos Espagnoles y Navegacion Aerea), Spanish Civil Aviation Authorities, working on part of project "RESET - Reduced Separation Minima". His traineeship has resulted with the report which presents one of the deliverables of the mentioned project.

    Professor Vojin Tosic was a member of Program Committee for the 7th USA/Europe Seminar on Air Traffic Management Research and Development, jointly organized by the United States Federal Aviation Administration and the EUROCONTROL Organization, which was held in Barcelona, Spain on July 02-05, 2007. Also, Professor Tosic was an Dynamic Airspace Management Session Rapporteur.

    The Division of Airports and Air Traffic Safety and Division of Transport Planning and Airline Operational Management initiated and is coordinating a one-year Master of Civil Aviation (MCA) programme (www.mastercivilaviation.org) together with the Operations Research Laboratory, Department of Electrotechnics, Electronics and Informatics, University of Trieste, in cooperation with the Division of Work, Organisational and Environmental Psychology, Department of Psychology, University of Graz, and supported by the Centre for Research, Development and Simulation, EUROCONTROL, Budapest (CRDS).

    The Division of Airports and Air Traffic Safety is participating in international project "RESET - Reduced Separation Minima", under the 6th Framework Programme of European Commission, since October 30th, 2006. The project is led by Spanish firm AENA and represents a joint effort of 14 European aviation institutions and the United States Federal Aviation Administration. The Division is participating in WP7 "Safety and Human Factors Case" led with NLR, Amsterdam (The Netherlands).

    Obrad Babic and Tatjana Krstic participated in the EUROCONTROL CRDS programme GENSPACE/2 held in Budapest (Hungary), October 2-6, 2006. The objective of the programme was ATC Familiarization for non-ATC personnel.


    2005-2006

    Vojin Tosic was the Conference Co-Chair and Local Organisation Chair and Obrad Babic was a member of the Program Committee of the "2nd International Conference on Research in Air Transportation - ICRAT 2006", organised by EUROCONTROL Experimental Centre (Bretigny, France), and the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering, Department of Air Transport (Belgrade, Serbia), June 24-28, 2006.

    Prof Vojin Tosic and Prof. Obrad Babic, together with Prof. Milica Kalic and Danica Pavlovic from Division of Aircraft Operation and Air Transport Planning and Management, and Zlatko Jegdic, general manager of SAGA (IT Company from Belgrade), have visited the Operational Center of Austrian Airlines, March 28-30, 2006. During the visit Prof. Kalic, Prof. Babic and Danica Pavlovic held the presentation on: "Daily Operational Flight Schedule Design - Decision Support Tool".

    Fedja Netjasov spent three months on a study visit to the Netherlands (February 01-April 30, 2006), organized by the Division of Airports and Air Traffic Safety. During that period he was hosted by the Delft University of Technology by the Section of Transport and Infrastructure OTB Research Institute for Housing, Urban and Mobility studies, where he worked on doctoral thesis preparation in the field of Risk and Safety in Air Transportation. That visit resulted by the working paper titled "A Review of Risk and Safety Modelling in Air Transportation". During the visit Mr. Netjasov also co-operated with the Aviation Safety Department of the National Airspace Laboratory (NLR) in Amsterdam on the familiarisation with the TOPAZ (Traffic Organisation and Perturbation AnalyZer) methodology through the work on the project named "Bias and Uncertainty Assessment of Collision Risk Estimation with a Monte Carlo Simulation Model of ASAS-Supported Time-Based Spacing in TMA".

    Prof. Vojin Tosic was a Keynote Speaker, with the topic "Airspace Management", at IV SITRAER (Simposio de Transporte Aereo), San Jose dos Campos, Brazil, November 17 - 18, 2005.

    Prof Vojin Tosic and Prof. Obrad Babic, together with Prof. Milica Kalic from Division of Aircraft Operation and Air Transport Planning and Management, have visited University of Trieste, October 26-29, 2005. Prof. Babic has, within the postgraduate studies, held 6 classes of lectures on: "Air Cargo Transport" and "Air Traffic Management"; and Prof. Kalic has held 4 classes of lectures on: "Airline Operations: Network and Schedule Design". During the visit a meeting about cooperation and organisation of joint Master Studies was held. Dr Walter Ukovich and Dr Lorenzo Castelli from University of Trieste; as well as Dr Natascha Kuenstner and Mr Michaela Heese from University of Graz have attended the meeting.


    2004-2005

    On August 29, 2005. Prof. Vojin Tosic and Prof. Obrad Babic, together with Prof. Milica Kalic from Division of Aircraft Operation and Air Transport Planning and Management, have visited the Operational Center of Austrian Airlines. During the visit a presentation of the Airline Schedule Optimization Project (done for the JAT Airways) was held.

    During summer vacation 2005, a junior assistant Bojana Mirkovic and seniour year student Predrag Vranjkovic had professional summer training organized through IAESTE (International Association for Exchange of Students for Technical Experience) and DAAD (Deutschen Akademischen AustauschDienst). They spent two months with the Business Division Aviation and Baggage handling department at Munich International Airport.

    Professor Vojin Tosic was a program committee member for the 6th USA/Europe Seminar on Air Traffic Management Research and Development, jointly organized by the United States Federal Aviation Administration and the EUROCONTROL Organization, held in Baltimore (Inner Harbor), Maryland, USA, June 27-30, 2005. Also, Professor Tosic was an Airspace Management Session Rapporteur.

    On June 14, 2005. Prof. Vojin Tosic and Prof. Obrad Babic, together with Prof. Milica Kalic from Division of Aircraft Operation and Air Transport Planning and Management, have visited Adria Airways and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. During the visit to University, Prof. Obrad Babic offered a lecture titled "Free Flight Concept Distributed Air/Ground Traffic Management".

    On June 13, 2005. Prof Vojin Tosic and Prof. Obrad Babic, together with Prof. Milica Kalic from Division of Aircraft Operation and Air Transport Planning and Management, have visited Karl-Franzes University in Graz (Institute for Work Psychology-Division for Aviation Psychology) hosted by Prof. dr Wolfgang Kallus; as well as the University of Applied Sciencies FH JOANNEUM, hosted by Prof. dr Hannes Fogt.

    The professional excursion of senior year students from the Department was organised in a period April 03-13, 2005. During the excursion the Airports in Budapest, Vienna and Munich were visited; as well as the EUROCONTROL CRDS (CEATS Research, Development and Simulation Center) in Budapest; and Karl-Franzes University in Graz (Institute for Work Psychology-Division for Aviation Psychology). Prof. Obrad Babic has led the excursion; whereas Prof. Milica Kalic, and lecturers Miodrag Ilic, Dr Aleksa Zejak, as well as Prof. Mirjana Cangalovic from Faculty of Organisational Sciencies, have also participated.

    Professor Vojin Tosic was a program committee member for the "1st International Conference on Research in Air Transportation - ICRAT 2004", organized by Eurocontrol Experimental Centre, (Bretigny, France) and University of Zilina, Department of Air Transportation (Zilina, Slovakia) held in Zilina, Slovakia between November 22-24, 2004. Also, Professor Tosic was a chairman of the conference session "Decision Support Tools".

    In October 2004, the Division was hosted Milan Janic, Ph.D. (alumni), Senior Researcher at OTB Research Institute, Delft University of Technology, Delft, The Netherlands. Mr. Janic also took part in the Master''s thesis defense of Teaching and Research Assistant Tatjana Krstic Simic, as a member of the committee for evaluating and approving the thesis.


    2003-2004

    During summer vacation 2004, three graduate students had professional summer training organized through IAESTE (International Association for Exchange of Students for Technical Experience):

  • Danica Pavlovic and Mirjana Djordjevic spent two months with the Traffic Operations Department at Munich International Airport, Munich, Germany,
  • Bojana Mirkovic spent two months with the AENA (Aeropuertos Espanoles y Navegacion Aerea), Tenerife Sur Airport ("Reina Sofia"), Traffic and Operations Planning Department, Granadilla de Abona, Tenerife, Spain.

    On May 21st 2004, delegation from EUROCONTROL CRDS led by CRDS head, Mr Philippe Debels, Ms Sophie Dusire and Ms Renee Schuen-Medwed, Human Factors Experts, as well as Mr David Brain, RAMS Expert, visited the Faculty. During the visit the guests attended the presentation of the final results of the undergraduate thesis completed by Miss Mara Cujic, and sponsored by the CRDS. Talks on further cooperation between CRDS and the Division of Airports and Air Traffic Safety were also held at this time.

    Vojin Tosic has been reappointed to the Committee on Airfield and Airspace Capacity and Delay, Transportation Research Board, division of the National Research Council, of the US National Academics, Washington, D.C., USA.

    In October 2003, the Division started cooperation with Department of Psychology, Karl-Franzes University, Graz, Austria. The main goal of cooperation is preparation of a common project proposal for the 6th Framework Programme for Research, Technological Development and demonstration, founded by European Commission. Besides the mentioned partners, EUROCONTROL CRDS Budapest, also participates in the proposal. Several meetings were held as part of the project preparations (three in Graz and one in Belgrade).


    2002-2003

    In November 2002, Aleksandar Jovanovic, Associate Professor at the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Mathematics, visited the Division and held a lecture titled "Possible DSP (Digital Signal Processing) Application in Air Traffic Control and Management".

    In late November 2002, the Division organized a lecture for officials of the Federal Air Traffic Control Authority. The lecture titled "Comparative analysis of SIMMOD and RAMS simulators on the example of the FR Yugoslavia model" was held by Department of Air Transportation alumna Marija Askovic.

    On 6 December, 2002 the Division organized a visit by Norman Ashford, Ph.D., professor at the University of Loughborough in Great Britain. The occasion for this visit was prof. Ashford's donation of his personal book collection to the library of the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering. Prof. Ashford also held a lecture titled "Effects of global air transport trends on airport master planning and infrastructure development".

    Zarko Sivcev (alumnus) from EUROCONTROL "Central Flow Management Unit" visited the Division in late December 2002. He held several lectures in the field of air transportation regarding new technologies as well as quality management systems in air traffic control and management and "low cost" air carriers.

    Tatjana Bolic, M.S. (alumna), a Ph.D. student at the University of California at Berkeley, visited the Division in Late December 2002 and presented part of the "URET and CPDLC Integration Benefits" project that she took part in within the NEXTOR (National Center of Excellence for Aviation Operations Research) program.

    In early February 2003, Branka Subotic, M.S. and Tamara Pejovic, M.S., alumnae of the Department of Air Transport  visited the Division. They presented their master's theses that they had successfully defended at the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Florida, USA. Ms. Subotic presented the paper titled "Transfer of Computer Based Training to AGATE (Advanced General Aviation Transport Experiments) Simulator", while Ms. Pejovic presented the paper titled "An Analysis of Impact of Personal Electronic Devices on Airline Safety".

    In March 2003, the Division continued its cooperation with the Center for Research, Development and Simulation (CRDS), of the European Organization for the Safety of Air Navigation (EUROCONTROL) in Budapest, which sponsored a undergraduate thesis on the topic of "Analysis of Incidents in the CEATS Upper Airspace Using TOKAI Toolkit and ECCAIRS Database". Student Filip Trandafilovski, whose thesis was sponsored, is working at the Center in Budapest while writing the paper.

    In late May 2003, Mirjana Cangalovic, Ph.D. Associate Professor at the Belgrade University Faculty of Organizational Sciences held a lecture titled "OPL - Optimization Programming Language", and in early June, Snezana Mladenovic, M.A. from the Mathematics Division of the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering presented a paper titled "OPL Application in Transportation - timetable design example".

    In early July 2003, the Division was host to Daniel Delahaye, Ph.D., docent at Ecole National de l'Aviation Civil (ENAC), Toulouse, France. Mr. Delahaye also took part in the master's thesis defense of Teaching and Research Assistant Fedja Netjasov, as a member of the committee for evaluating and approving the thesis.

    In late July 2003, Tatjana Bolic, M.S. (alumna), a Ph.D. student at the University of California at Berkeley, visited the Division and held a lecture titled "Cognitive and Physical Utilization in Controller - Pilot Communications".

    From September 2003, the Division continued its cooperation with the Center for Research, Development and Simulation (CRDS), of the European Organization for the Safety of Air Navigation (EUROCONTROL) in Budapest, which sponsored a undergraduate thesis on the topic of "Differences in Capacity and Workload Between Different Types of ATC Simulations". Student Mara Cujic, whose thesis was sponsored, is working at the Center in Budapest while writing the paper.


    2001-2002

    During November 2001, Division has started cooperation with Center for Research, Development and Simulation (CRDS), EUROCONTROL in Budapest. Cooperation has resulted with two grants for udergraduate thesis in area of Air Traffic Control with following topics: "RAMS and SIMMOD Simulators Comparison" and "Human Factor Modelling for Fast-Time Simulations". Students Olja Vujic and Marija Askovic, which reports are granted, are spend four months in Budapest during work on those projects.

    December 2001, the Division organized the visit by the Spanish firm INDRA which made two presentations on this occasion: "AIRCON 2000 - Air Traffic Control System for Approach, En Route and Control Tower" and "IRS-20MP/L - Monopulse Secondary Surveillance Radar for En Route and Approach".

    Zarko Sivcev (alumnus) from the EUROCONTROL "Central Flow Management Unit", visited the Division in December 2001. He give the presentation with topic "Implementation of RVSM in Europe"

    In March, 2002, CRDS EUROCONTROL consigned the newest version of Air Traffic simulator  RAMS.

    In early April, 2002, the Division was visited by Ms. Brankica Pesic Le Foll (alumna) with husband Mr. Stefan Le Foll. Mr. Le Foll, deputy of director of ACC Bordeaux, France, gave the presentation of the results of project "Impact of route modification over France on Paris TMA Performance".

    In April, 2002, the Division was visited by firm RAYTHEON, which presented its new system of integrated data processing and presentation for ACC's.

    On July 1st - 2nd, delegation from EUROCONTROL headed by Mr. Christian Pusch, vice-president of EEC for Research and Development visited the Faculty. Also participating were Mr Philippe Debels head of CRDS, Budapest, Mr Iosif Ackerman, RAMS expert and Mr Cris Vermeiren, human factor expert also from CRDS. During the visit, the delegation attended the presentation of the final results of the granted projects and also held negotiation on the further form of cooperation between EUROCONTROL and the Division of Airports and Air Traffic Safety.

    Mr. Aleksandar Pavlovic (alumnus), Head of Aeronautical Information and Charts Section, Air Navigation Bureau, ICAO, Montreal, visited the Division during July, 2002. He gave a lecture with the topic: "Integrated Air Traffic Information Systems".

    Dr Jasenka Rakas (alumna), researcher at University of California at Berkeley, visited the Division on September 20, 2002, and presented results of project "URET and CPDLC Integration Benefits" granted by NEXTOR programme (National Centre of Excellence for Aviation Operations Research) on which she participated.


    2000-2001

    Vojin Tosic was Member of the committee for evaluation and defense of Ph.D. thesis: Sofiane Oussedik "Application de technique d'evolution artificielle aux  problemes de congestion du traffic aerien", Universite Paris - Sud - Centre Scientifique d'Orsay, December 2000.

    In September 2001, professors and assistants visited ENAC (Ecole Nationale d'Aviation Civile) and CENA (Centre d'Etudes de la Navigation Aerienne) in Toulouse, invited by Dr Daniel Delahaye. The visit extended to Eurocontrol Experimental Center in Bretigny. Basic plans for further research cooperation were made during these visits.

    During summer vacation 2001, two graduate students had professional summer training organized through IAESTE (International Association for Exchange of Students for Technical experience) and AENA (Aeropuertos Espagnoles y Navegacion Aerea), Spanish Civil Aviation Authorities. Both students spent three months at Madrid. Olja Vijic worked on airport problems while Marija Askovic analyzed air traffic and controller workload.

  • 1999-2000

    Brankica Pesic, junior research assistant on leave of absence, spent nine months at the "Institut National Polytechnique de Toulouse", Toulouse, France. She obtained the "Diplome de Recherche Universitaire - (D.R.U), specialite Informatique", finishing course work and research report titled "Optimization de la Circulation des Aeronefs au Sol".

    During summer vacation 2000, three graduate students and junior assistants had professional summer training organized through IAESTE (International Association for Exchange of Students for Technical Experience) and DAAD (Deutschen Akademischen AustauschDienst).

    Tatjana Krstic and Igor Poltoracki spent two months with the Traffic Operations Department at  Munich International Airport in the Terminal 2 Project Team (cooperation between Deutsche Lufthansa and Munich Airport). They developed major parts of a simulation model, using the  ARENA 4 tool, which analyzes the interdepedences of aircraft movements on taxilanes and service vehicle movements on apron-roads and will be used to evaluate the necessity of a vehicle tunnel.

    Fedja Netjasov spent two months with the Unique Zurich Airport. He worked in the Airlines Division, Operations Engineering, on the project of implementation of new concepts of Zurich Airport operations.

    Tatjana Bolic, junior assistant on leave of absence, joined the Institute of Transport Studies (ITS), University of California at Berkeley. She is a gradatue student in the Transportation program and works as a research assistant in NEXTOR (National Center of Excellence for Aviation Operations Research).

  • 1998-1999

    Brankica Pesic, junior research assistant, on leave of absence from the Division, spent nine months as visiting graduate student at ENAC (Ecole Nationale de l'Aviation Civile), Toulouse, France. Her stay was sponsored by EUROCONTROL. During that period she worked with Dr Daniel Delahaye on the problem of daily operational airspace sectorisation.

    Almira Ramadani-Williams (alumna), PhD student at The University of California at Berkeley, and Ashley Williams, Associate at Leigh Fisher Associates, San Mateo, California, visited the Division in December 1998. During their visit they offered the "Redesigning Flight Procedures in New York/ New Jersey Airspace" seminar.

    Zarko Sivcev (alumnus) from the EUROCONTROL Central Flow Management Unit, visited the Division in December 1998. and offered the "EATCHIP -European Air Traffic Control Harmonisation and Integration Programme" seminar.

    Vojin Tosic was nominated as member of the Airfield and Airspace Committee, Transportation Research Board, National Research Council, Washington, D.C., USA.

    Vojin Tosic was a member of the International Program Committee of the International Conference "Modelling and Management in Transportation" organized by Poznan and Cracow Universities of Technology and the EURO Working Group on Transportation, to be held in Poland, October 12-16, 1999. He also helped organize Conference sessions on Air Transportation.

  • 1997-1998

    Vojin Tosic spent two months  (January and February) as a Visiting Scholar at the Institute of Transportation Studies (ITS), University of California at Berkeley. He was a Visiting Research Engineer in the NEXTOR (National Center of Excellence for Aviation Operations Research) working on Air Traffic Safety problems and San Francisco International Airport Systems Analysis.

    Dr Daniel Delahaye from ENAC (Ecole Nationale d'Aviation Civile), Ecole Polytechnique and CENA (Centre d'Etude de la Navigation Aerienne), and Mr Sofiane Oussedik from Ecole Polytechnique (Centre de Mathematique Applique) and EUROCONTROL, both involved in the Laboratory for Global Optimization (in Air Traffic Control and Management), visited the Division in April 1998. Dr Delahaye offered the lecture "Some Modelling of ATC/M System". Plans for further academic cooperations were also made.

    Mr Oussedik visited the Division again in June 1998 during one week. That time he held a training session for graduate and senior year students working with the Division in using CATS simulator. The CATS (Complete Air Traffic Simulator) was kindy supplied to the Division by CENA, to be used for research purposes. During the session a simple case study of the Yugoslav airspace was performed.

    During 1998 summer vacation four of senior year students had professional summer training organized trough IAESTE (International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience). Igor Poltoracki spent two months at Las Palmas Airport (Canary Islands) in organization of AENA (Aeropuertos Espagnoles y Navegacion Aerea), Spanish Civil Aviation Authorities. Tatjana Bolic, Fedja Netjasov and Miodrag Mirkovic spent two months working at the Munich Airport organized by DAAD (Deutschen Akademischen AustauschDienst).


    1996-1997 

    Vojin Tosic spent two months as a Visiting Scholar at the Institute of Transportation Studies (ITS), University of California at Berkeley. He was a Visiting Research Engineer in the NEXTOR (National Center of Excelence for Aviation Operations Research).


    1994-1996

    During July and August of 1995 Almira Ramadani had summer practice and training at the Munich Airport organized by IAESTE (International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience) and DAAD (Deutschen Akademischen Austausch Dienst).
