Srđan Rusov, Ph.D, Associate Professor

Dr. Srdjan Rusov Associate Professor of Transportation Engineering, University of Belgrade, was born in 1959 in Belgrade, where he finished elementary school and IX Belgrade High School. He is the holder of the "Alas" diploma in physics.

He graduated at Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Belgrade in the 1981th, on the group of enginers and motor vehicles with a score of 9.40. As the best student in the class during four years of studies it has been honored several times by the Council of Mechanical Engineering and the Rector of Belgrade University. He won the October Award of Belgrade and rewards "Rastko Stojanović".

In 1982 he was elected as assistant on the FTTE in Belgrade. He received his MA in 1984. School of Mechanical Engineering in Belgrade, where he obtained his doctorate in 1991 . On the position of Associate Professor on FTTE he  was elected in 1999. He has been teaching the subjects "Theory movement" and "Diesel traction vehicles”, and he allso formed a new subject " Technology of high-speed trains”.

Dr. Srdjan Rusov author of the two university books,  "Technical mechanics1-theory with applications" and "Systems of high-speed trains" first in our language area, in this field. He published over 30 papers in international and over 20 papers in national journals, and participated in the more basic and innovative projects.

Main areas of scientific research are  the areas related to the dynamics of rail, road vehicle dynamics and dynamic of objects.
