TOPICS OF THE CONFERENCE

The general topics of the TES 2012 Conference are the role of traffic engineering and transportation planning in traffic efficiency and safety; to disseminate results, experiences, advancements and the latest developments in applying new methodologies, methods, software programs, as well as technological innovations related to new materials, new technologies and the European standards in traffic engineering to all those working in the field. This Conference is intended for engineers involved in the issues of urban and intercity transport, city authorities, planners, town planning designers, scientists and researchers at universities and other academic institutions as well as all those involved in the problems related to transport in cities, residential areas and on roads.

This Conference is also aimed at younger engineers who have not yet had opportunity to get acquainted with the new tools in traffic engineering.

PROGRAMME FIELDS

About 40 papers will be presented at Conference. Official language is Serbian and English.

The Conference will be held in plenary sessions covering the following fields:

1.         Traffic Engineering – traffic control and management, ITS and traffic engineering, indicators

2.         Traffic design,  indicators

3.         Transportation planning, demand, modeling, indicators

4.         Capacity analyses, project evaluation, indicators

5.         Traffic Eng. - parking policy and solutions, indicators

6.         Traffic survey
