Marko Miljković
Marko Miljković was born in Belgrade in 1984, where he finished elementary school and the Fifth Belgrade grammar school. He graduated from the Faculty of Economics, University of Belgrade in 2008 and earned his master’s degree in 2010. He attends PhD studies at the same Faculty. In February 2015 he joined the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering, University of Belgrade, where he serves as Teaching Assistant for the narrow scientific field “Economics and Marketing in Traffic and Transport“. He teaches “Principles of Economics“ and “Business Economics with Principles of Financial Management“ on bachelor studies and “Financial Risks in Logistics“ at master’s degree studies.
During his studies, he was a scholar of the Fund for American Studies and Konrad-Adenauer Foundation and he successfully completed advanced undergraduate studies within the programme “European Union and the Balkans“ at the Belgrade Open School. As a scholar of the Zoran Djindjic Foundation and German Federal Government, he completed professional internship in the German research and consulting company Future Management Group AG.
During the period 2009-2015, he worked as Research Associate in the Economics Institute Belgrade. He has been engaged in scientific research projects of the Serbian Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development. During his research career, he published several original scientific papers in the national journals of international relevance and the leading national journals, and participated in national and international scientific conferences.
While he was working as a team member of the Economics Institute he had the opportunity to apply his research and analytical skills in various consulting projects, especially for the companies from the traffic and transport sector, including PE Roads of Serbia, Serbia and Montenegro Air Traffic Services SMATSA LLC, Serbian Railways JSC and VIP mobile LLC.
He speaks English and German.
