2008

On December 24, 2008 Dejan Protic, data-base manager at the Faculty, within course of “Transportation Planning and Airline Operations” gave lecture “Global Distribution Systems and New Selling Systems of Capacities in Air Transport”.

On December 17, 2008 Jelena Kindjic (Fly Time) within course of “Transportation Planning and Airline Operations” gave lecture “On line reservation”, and Marko Stijepovic (Emirates) gave lecture “Amadeus – tickets reservation and booking”.

On November 27, 2008 Radosav Jovanovic, MSc, within course of “Transportation Planning and Airline Operations 1” gave lecture “Forecasts in Air Transport – Basics on Case Study: Serbia and Montenegro Air Traffic Analysis and Forecast”.

On November 11, 2008 dr Dragana Mijatovic-Jovanovic design expert at ATC Netherlands gave lecture “Research of the relation between the KLM arrival punctuality, the percentage of KLM transfer passengers at risk of losing their connection and the sustainability of hourly capacity at Schiphol Airport”.

On September 25, 2008 Mirjana Djordjevic, postgraduate student at the Faculty gave lecture “European ground handling market after Directive 96/97/EC ratification”.

On September 15, 2008 Djordje Colic, flight dispatch supervisor in Netjets, gave lecture related to Netjets.

On July 4, 2008 dr Pitu Mirchandani, professor at The University of Arizona, Systems and Industrial Engineering gave lecture “Real-time logistical decision system”.

On June 12, 2008 Drazen Kojovic, postgraduate student at the Faculty and Air Force pilot gave lecture “Applying TOPSIS method for solving regulation of air traffic flow problem”.

On May 29, 2008 Milan Elenkov, postgraduate student at the Faculty and Air Force pilot gave lecture “Air Traffic Control Systems on Apron”.

On May 26, 2008 Radosav Jovanovic, MSc, within course of “Transportation Planning and Airline Operations” gave lecture “Forecasts in Air Transport – Basics on Case Study: Serbia and Montenegro Air Traffic Analysis and Forecast”.

On May 26 to 27, 2008 prof. dr Antonin Kazda, dr Anna Tomova, dr Andrej Novak, dr Sandra Krollova and dr Benedikt Badanik from the University of Zilina, Department of Air Transport, visited the Department and gave following lectures:

On May 15, 2008 Fedja Netjasov, MSc, teaching and research assistant at the Division of Airports and Air Traffic Safety gave lecture “Accident risk assessment model for TCAS II Version 7 operation in ATM”.

On May 8, 2008 “Economy and economic policy in air transport” seminar held at the Department, and following lectures are given:

  • Nikola Maravic, MSc, dipl. ecc., “Internet technology influence on user relationship management in air transport service”
  • Prof. Dr Juergen Mueller (Berlin School of Economics & German Aviation Research Society), “Restructuring of the European ground handling market after the EU market liberalization”

On April 24, 2008 dr Goran Vuk, Danish Transport Research Institute, gave lecture “Household-based modelling of personal travel behaviour”.

On April 3, 2008 Maja Petrovic, Junior teaching and Research Assistant at the Faculty gave lecture “Contemporary tools for planning and 3D modeling – air transport applications”.

On December 3, 2007 Slobodan Simovic (Jat Airways) within course of “Transportation Planning and Airline Operations” gave lecture “Jat Airways Operational Centre”.

On November 22, 2007 Milan Elenkov, postgraduate student at the Faculty and Air Force pilot gave lecture “Correspondingly equipped autonomous aircraft systems”.

On November 8, 2007 Milan Elenkov, postgraduate student at the Faculty and Air Force pilot gave lecture “Low cost carriers organization”.

Short course Airports, airlines, air traffic management (ATM) – operations economics and financing held at the Department on November 5 and 6, 2007. Following lectures were given:

  • Dr Boris Begovic, professor of economics at the School of Law, University of Belgrade and President of Center for Liberal-Democratic Studies (CLDS), “Economics: Basics for Non-economists”
  • Dr Juergen Müeller, Berlin School of Economics & German Aviation Research Society, “What can we learn from economic tools for managing the air transport value chain”
  • Dr Slobodan Mitric, Lead Transport Specialist of World Bank (retired), presently part-time consultant of World Bank, “Economic vs. Financial Appraisal of Large-Scale Transport Investments”
  • Danica Pavlovic, junior teaching and research assistant at the Division, “Airport slots”.

On October 18, 2007 Bojana Mirkovic, junior teaching and research assistant at the Division of Airports and Air Traffic Safety gave lecture “Aircraft choice for new regional airline”.

On October 4, 2007 Bojana Mirkovic, junior teaching and research assistant at the Division of Airports and Air Traffic Safety gave lecture “Proposal of route network and flight schedule for new regional airline”.

On September 18, 2007 dr Mauro Dell’Orco, professor at the Technical University of Bari (Italy), gave lecture “A Fuzzy Decision Support System for Transit Service in Low Density Areas”.

On June 7, 2007 Radosav Jovanovic, MSc, within course of “Transportation Planning and Airline Operations” gave lecture “Airline route planning – business plan for new airline on route with existing traffic – macroscopic approach (Case study: London-Berlin, 2006)”.

On June 7, 2007 Jelena Djokic, Phd student of University of Technology in Dresden, Germany, gave lecture “INTEGRA Capacity and Safety Metrics”.

On May 31, 2007 Jelena Kindjic, graduate student of the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering and Flytime director, gave lecture on her professional experience during her work in Montavia.

On May 24, 2007 Danica Pavlovic, junior teaching and research assistant at the Division, gave lecture “Data link applications in ATM System”.

On May 17, 2007 Dusan Kostic, IATA manager for Serbia, gave lecture “IATA in Serbia”.

Dr Bernd Lorenz, Human factor team Leader, EUROCONTROL CRDS, Budapest visited the Air Transport Department on May 8, 2007. On that occasion Dr Lorenz gave the lecture: “Human Factors issues in the validation of advanced air traffic management operational concepts: TCAS resolution advisory downlink, HUDs, Data link service implementation”.

On April 26, 2007 Slavica Dozic, junior teaching and research assistant at the Division gave lecture “Airline – airport (commercial) relationship analysis”.

On March 29, 2007 dr Mira Paskota, assistant professor at the Faculty, gave lecture “GPS technologies”.

Professor Galina Suslova from the University of National Aviation, Ukraine, and ICAO Expert visited the Air Transport Department on March 28, 2007. On that occasion Prof. Suslova gave a lecture “Safety Management System as an Instrument for Improvement in Aviation Safety”.

On March 22, 2007 Danica Pavlovic, junior teaching and research assistant at the Division gave lecture “Sensitive Analysis of Airline Schedule Optimization (ASO) Advanced Model on Penalty Coefficient Changing – Austrian Airlines Example”.

Mr Aleksandar Pavlovic, Head of AIS, ICAO, Montreal (Canada) visited the Division on March 21, 2007. During the visit Mr. Pavlovic give the following lectures: “AIS Role within the ATM Operational Concept” (.ppt 0.2Mb), “Electronic Terrain and Obstacle Data” (.ppt 0.73Mb), and “Data Product Specifications: Terrain, Obstacle and Aerodrome Mapping” (.ppt 2Mb).

On March 15, dr Boris Begovic, professor of economics at the School of Law, University of Belgrade and President of Center for Liberal-Democratic Studies (CLDS) gave lecture “Airline – airport agreements: law-economic terminology in airline industry”.

On March 08, 2007 Bojana Mirkovic, junior teaching and research assistant at the Division of Airports and Air Traffic Safety gave lecture “Airport - potential bottleneck in air transport system and restrict resource of airport stands”.

On March 01, 2007 Dejan Protic, data-base manager at the Faculty, gave lecture on “E-travel innovation”.

2006.

On December 26 and 27, 2006 Second Conference of Air Transport Graduated Engineers (BSc) and Engineers - Air Traffic Controllers was held at Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering, titled: “Where are we? What are we doing?” Air Transport Today - New Challenges. Following lectures were held at the Conference:

On October 26, 2006 Danijela Maksimovic, dipl. ing. from the Faculty gave lecture “Testing of the ASO Model on Austrian Airlines’ Daily Schedule”.

On October 19, 2006 Radosav Jovanovic, MSc, Westminster University, London, UK, gave lecture “Effects on Airline Delay Costs of Delayed Passengers”.

On September 8, 2006 Slavica Dozic, Junior Teaching and Research Assistant at The Division, gave a lecture “Collaborative Decision Making – Literature Review”.

On April 03, 2006 Maja Janic, Duty Officer - Traffic at Nis Airport, within course of “Transportation Planning and Airline Operations” gave lectures “Potentials of Passenger Demand of Nis Airport Catchment Area” and “Airport 'Constantine the Great' Nis, today”.

On March 13, 2006 dr Slobodan Mitric, Lead Transport Specialist of World Bank (retired), presently part-time consultant of World Bank, within course of “Transportation Planning and Airline Operations” gave lecture “Thoughts on Prognosis in the Context of Evaluation of Transport Projects of World Bank”.

On February 02, 2006 dr Dieter Reisinger, Quality Manager Flight Operations Austrian Airlines, visited Division and gave five-hour lecture “Introduction to Flight Safety”.

On January 17, 2006 Dragana Milisic, Expert for Foreign Trade and International Business Management (Brussels, Belgium), gave lecture “Communication - Condition for Personal and Professional Success”.

On May 11, 2005 Maja Janic (Nis Airport) within course of “Transportation Planning and Airline Operations” gave lecture “Potentials of Nis Airport Catchment Area”.

On May 09, 2005 Dusan Kostic, Director of IATA Regional Office Serbia and Montenegro, visited the Division and gave lecture “IATA is Simplifying the Business - A Look at a Journey in the Future...”.

On April 01, 2005 Dusan Devic (JAT Airways), Branko Krstic and Branko Premk visited the Division and gave presentation of “Regional Airline 'Int-Air-Link' Project”.

On March 30, 2005 dr Bogoljub Filipovic, Nikola Djuricko (DC-10 Captain) and Jovan Cubrilo BSc. gave presentation of National Aviation-Club “Nasa krila” titled: “Blue Night of Air Transport”.

On March 25, 2005 dr Lorenzo Castelli from University of Trieste, Italy, visited the Division and gave lecture “En-route charges: the present system and directions for innovative policies”.

On January 10, 2005 Dejan Protic, Data-Base Manager at Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering, within course of “Transportation Planning and Airline Operations” gave lecture “Electronic Business and Global Distribution Systems in Air Transport”.

2004.

On May 10, 2004 dr Srdjan Bogosavljevic (Strategic Marketing), within the “Trend Group - Young People” project, gave lecture “Data Collection Methods - Advantages and Shortcomings”.

On January 05, 2004 Dejan Protic, data-base manager at the Faculty, within course of “Transportation Planning and Airline Operations” gave lecture “Global Distribution Systems in Transportation Market of 21st Century”.

2003.
In December 2003 Marijana Radovic (Yugoslav Airlines) within course of “Transportation Planning and Airline Operations” gave lecture “Presentation of Yugoslav Airlines”.

At the end of May 2003 dr Mirjana Cangalovic, associated professor at the Faculty of Organisational Sciences gave lecture “OPL – Optimisation Programming Language”, and at the beginning of June Snezana Mladenovic, MSc. from Division of Mathematics at the Faculty presented paper “Applications of OPL in Transport – Example of Timetable Design”.

In May 2003 dr Svetlana Logar (Strategic Marketing) gave lecture “Basic Problems of Pool Survey”.

At the beginning of February 2003 Branka Subotic, MSc. and Tamara Pejovic MSc, former students of Department of Air Transport, visited the Division. They presented their Master Theses obtained at Embry-Riddle University in Florida, USA. Branka Subotic presented her Thesis “Transfer of Computer Based Training to AGATE (Advanced General Aviation Transport Experiments) Simulator”. Tamara Pejovic presented her Thesis “An Analysis of Impact of Personal Electronic Devices on Airline Safety”.

2002.

On June 03, 2002 Marijana Radovic (Yugoslav Airlines) within course of “Transportation Planning and Airline Operations” gave lecture “Presentation of Yugoslav Airlines”.

2001.

In April 2001 dr Goran Jovicic (Tetraplan, Denmark) gave lecture “Passenger Traffic Demand Model for Greater Copenhagen Area – Orestad Traffic Model”.
